Laser Cut Business Cards

Laser cutting your business cards is a great idea as you can really make your card stand out from the rest through intricate cutouts, engraving, choice of material, even making the card operable in different ways.

Delicate, intricate patterns can be cut into a card, sometimes with less than 1/32″ between elements depending on the material. These cutouts can align and function differently on the front and back of the card, they can also be used with a second material sandwiched between a front and back piece to really give the card some depth.

If you are using a thicker cardstock, wood, anodized metal etc you can engrave designs into the material itself rather than printing on the surface. These engravings can be done on either side as well.

You can also add functionality to your card through a pop-up, slide-out or fold-up function as well as a kit of parts where a perforated line allows parts to be popped out of the card itself to assemble an object. These cards take some significant design work but can pretty striking depending on what you are going for.
