Acrylic Signs – Backlit and Edge Lit

You can really make an impact with acrylic signsand lit signage. For backlit signs you can cut the design out of a top layer and then put a translucent layer behind it, you can also infill the cutout areas in the clear acrylic with frosted acrylic pieces that slot in perfectly. For edge lit signs generally you would engrave the design into the top or rear surface and then attach an edge light to shine into the acrylic from the side which makes the engraved areas glow nicely. We do a lot of blade signs which are signs that project from a storefront above a walking area to catch pedestrians’ eyes.
