We have been cutting a lot of face shields from a bunch of different designs and this one is very good. Two bands of .06″ PETG at different lengths are held together by weaving the 3/4″ elastic through a few slots which generates the offset from the face you need to avoid fogging and provide enough space for glasses/eye protection and a mask. A small piece at the bottom of the .02″ PETG shield portion maintains the curve and it all snaps together. It’s reusable as PETG is resistant to a lot of solvents and you can clean it with rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide etc. Some uses require a closed top, this usually requires an additional piece that snaps in but it ends up stiffening the curve of the band so it doesn’t conform to your forehead and is less comfortable, but it has been mentioned that surgical caps can be pulled over the top to close that gap. Protohaven has been awesome enough to provide the file for the pieces here.
